Live! was the first live album that Status Quo released commercially. The original release in 1977 was recorded over 3 nights between 27th and 29th October 1976, recorded using the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio. 'Live In Glasgow' was the first ever issue of night's 1976 tour presented in its entirety. Live! is regarded as one of the classic Live albums from the seventies and one of Quo's most memorable live sets. This one complete recording of one setlist from the same tour shows the band at their loud 'n' furious peak, with all the original 1970s lineup in full effect.

Durutti Column: Renascent [Vinyl LP]

Widely regarded as one of their finest performances, even by the band members themselves, this concert took place at the Roman Théâtre Antique in Arles. The lineup consisted of the core four members: Schmidt, Michael Karoli, Jaki Liebezeit and Holger Czukay. The band played as part of a festival that included other artists such as Nico and Kevin Ayres. The recording was unearthed from the Spoon Records vaults, after long only existing through the stories of those who were there. To celebrate its first release, it feels only fitting that the sleeve notes include first-hand accounts from people who attended the show. As with the rest of the series, this release captures the unique nature of Can's onstage improvisations. Every show was different, and these recordings offer a fresh look at a band whose creative process never truly finished.

It's just over 30 years ago that former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler and ex-Thieves frontman David McAlmont unleashed the extraordinary single 'Yes' at the beginning of a summer awash with Britpop and Ibiza rave. With its instant-classic sound, augmented by soaring '60s strings, it sounded epic and most definitely unlike anything else at the time. Rightly, today it's considered a stone-cold classic.
